- Audio Files: The media files you actively upload to the site for processing.
- IP Addresses: We log IP addresses solely to enforce our free daily upload limits (20 per day) and to prevent abuse or malicious attacks on our server.
- Account Information: If you choose to create an account, we store your email address and name.
2. How We Use Your Files (Data Retention)
Ezstems is built on a strict privacy-first model regarding your media:
- Temporary Storage: Audio files uploaded to our server, and the resulting stems generated by the AI, are stored temporarily.
- Auto-Deletion: All uploaded media and processed zip files are automatically wiped from our server within approximately 1 hour of processing. We do not keep archives or backups of your music.
3. Third-Party Services
We use a select few third-party services to keep the site functional:
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to monitor basic site traffic and usage patterns. This helps us understand server load.
- Google Login: If you use Google to sign in, authentication is handled securely by Google.
- YouTube API: If you submit a YouTube link, we utilize the official YouTube API to fetch the video data.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. We will only share information if legally required to do so by law enforcement or via a valid legal request.
5. Cookies
We use basic session cookies to keep you logged in to your dashboard and to remember your acceptance of our cookie banner. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, though some parts of the site (like the dashboard) may not function properly.
